Meet Dianne Gilmour
Vancouver Couples & Relationship Counsellor

Dianne has over 25 years of experience working with individuals, couples and families looking for more effective communication in their relationships.  A former school teacher, Dianne has taught junior and senior school in a variety of subject areas.  Her path ultimately led to her work as a guidance counselor in the public school system where her primary focus was working with at risk youth and their families.  Her witnessing of the strength, courage and resilience of her clients instilled in her the desire to further her education in the counseling field.   In addition to her private practice, Dianne has worked with a non-profit agency providing intensive clinical counseling mediation and support to families.  She facilitated their awareness of their strengths, facilitating the creation of solutions to the challenges and struggles that so many families face today.

Dianne’s special areas of interest and expertise are supporting relationships (whatever those relationships are) by providing pragmatic and effective communication tools and strategies.   She is committed to on-going training and regularly attends workshops, seminars and conferences pertinent to her couples/marriage/relationship counseling practice.

Dianne and her husband live in Vancouver.  Their two adult sons light their lives.
